It all started the day after Thanksgiving. Barber Bob was at the stores doing some early Christmas shopping when he remembered what happened last year on Christmas. Santa had fallen through his roof, his Christmas palm tree snapped in half, and his oven blue up.

This year was going to be better. When he was done shopping for everyone, he went home, dropped off the presents, left and got a palm tree, and then he went home.

Barber Bob loved putting up the palm tree and decorating it every year. He had been doing it since he was four years old in the year 1893. Once he was done with the tree, he put the presents under the tree.

On Christmas morning, he had a party and invited all his friends and family. Each one had to bring a gift for everyone. At the end of the party, Barber Bob had given away all the gifts he had bought. He had gotten over a hundred gifts from everybody. This year was his best Christmas ever.
