Barber Bob Visits His Hometown - 1999
One day Barber Bob was lonely because Artist Artie was sick, Chef Cory was on vacation, and Epidemic Eddy had just moved. Barber Bob started to cry because he was so sad that Friendly Fred wasn't friendly to him. He decided to look at some old photo albums to pass the time away.
While he was looking he remembered his parents waiting for him to visit them, and he also remembered his parents' dog, Biting Brosco, who was almost two thousand years old. Just then he had a brilliant idea to go leave Bobsville, NY, and go visit his parents. So he made a checklist. He had everything on the list including his specialty, pies.
While he was speeding along the highway he noticed his brother Baker Billy trying to fix his car, so Barber Bob decided to ask where he was going.
“Hey Billy where are you headed to?”
“Mom and Dad's house how about you?”
“Same as you, do you want a ride?”, Barber Bob asked, “Oh…only if you will eat a pie I baked though.”
“Okay.”
So they started driving again and an hour later got there. While they were there they ate a lot of rice pudding and pies. Barber Bob made several kinds of pies like pumpkin, strawberry, blackberry, and blueberry.
A week later they were ready to leave and they didn't want to. But they knew they had to get back to work so they said their good-byes and went on their way back to Bobsville. While in the car, Barber Bob said to Billy, “Are you the Pillsbury Doughboy?”
